Due to the heavy rain predicted to last all day, today’s Battle of the Cans collection for the Baton Rouge Area Food Bank has been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Free Speech Plaza. Coach Van Chancellor will be on hand to accept your donations between 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Those who are challenging their friends and colleagues can take advantage of an extra day to collect cans.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
